NBA 2K2 is the third installment of the 2K series, it was still developed by Visual Concepts and published by Sega Sports. It was released on October 24, 2001 on the Dreamcast and later ported with PlayStation 2, Nintendo GameCube, and the Xbox in 2002. NBA 2K2 featured more street courts such as Mosswood, Fonde Rec Center, Venice Beach, etc. The game still featured the old street courts like in the previous game NBA 2K1. It was the first NBA 2K game to be released multi-platform on the series, and also the last to be on the Dreamcast. The cover athlete is Allen Iverson
ESPN NBA 2K5 is a video game released by Sega and Global Star Software in 2004.[1] Some modes in the game are The Association (Season of basketball), 24/7, Street basketball, Tournament, and you can unlock bobble heads and teams. The game's graphics are done by Visual Concepts. Detroit Pistons center Ben Wallace is on the cover. Wallace was the first player to appear on an NBA 2K series cover who wasn't Allen Iverson
NBA 2K10 is a basketball video game based on the National Basketball Association developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports. It was released on October 6, 2009 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 and PSP and on October 12, 2009 on PC. It was released on Wii on November 9, 2009 in North America. It was released in Europe on November 27.[1] Kobe Bryant is the cover athlete of the game.[2] The game is the first PSP and Wii release of the NBA 2K series, and the first on a Nintendo system since NBA 2K2 for the GameCube. The Wii version, while containing version-specific controls and nuances, is a general port of the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions - including all the modes (online and offline) of the current-geniterations.[3] The PSP release is essentially a port of the PS2 version, though lacking online play.[4]
NBA 2K12 is a basketball video game developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports. It was released on October 5, 2011 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Microsoft Windows, Wii and for the first time on iOS iPhone and iPad. For the first time in the series, there were three different covers to choose from when purchasing the game. Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, and Michael Jordan were the three cover athletes.[1][2] It is the thirteenth installment in the NBA 2K series, the first game in the series to have "built-in" support of 3D for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions, and the first to include motion controls using the PlayStation Move. NBA 2K12 is the successor to NBA 2K11 in the NBA 2K series.
